Charging-location data

Station names, coordinates, addresses, connector types, reported power and operating status are requested from Open Charge Map. The service caches responses at the network edge to reduce repeated upstream requests. A cached record can lag behind a recent operator change, and some fields may be incomplete.

Charging-speed categories

• Green: a reported maximum power of 22 kW or less.
• Cyan: reported power above 22 kW and below 150 kW.
• Purple: reported power of at least 150 kW.

These categories describe the station record, not the power a particular vehicle will necessarily receive. Actual charging speed is limited by the vehicle, connector, battery state, temperature and equipment conditions.

Vehicle reference profiles

Profiles contain a usable battery reference, typical consumption, connector preferences and peak charging input. They are used to filter likely compatible records and estimate energy requirements. Model year, market, trim, software and adapters can change real compatibility, so the vehicle manual remains authoritative.

Energy and state-of-charge estimates

The planner calculates reference energy use from route distance and the selected vehicle's consumption. Routes begin with the selected starting charge, maintain a configurable reserve and estimate a destination level. Suggested charging stops favor compatible records near the route and higher reported power where practical.

Traffic, gradients, weather, speed, tyres, payload, heating, cooling and battery degradation are not fully predictable. Results should be treated as preparation guidance, not a guarantee of range.

Corrections and verification

Before travel, verify live station information with its operator. If a page, calculation description or site-controlled label appears incorrect, send the page address and details through our contact page. Station-record corrections may also need to be submitted to the underlying data provider.
